St. Mary and St. Thomas Schools could not provide our students with such individualized attention and support without our dedicated team of volunteers. Many volunteers serve as classroom aides or one-on-one tutors, bolstering the confidence and improving the skills of students who are struggling academically. Some help with secretarial work and filing; others offer their maintenance expertise.

There are so many ways for you to contribute to our school. If you are interested in sharing your time and talents with our students, we can find a place for you! Contact the school office to learn how you can make a difference!

Please note: We are serious about protecting our children, and we want to make sure that all staff and volunteers are, too. All volunteers must attend a VIRTUS training session and undergo a background check before being allowed to work directly with students.

St. Mary of the Lake and St. Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Schools are environments where children of all backgrounds, experiences, and economic statuses grow, learn, and thrive. Many of our families have incomes that fall below the federal poverty live, yet at our schools, donors, supporters and volunteers make it possible for all of our students to receive a high-quality, Roman Catholic education.
