This year, I wrote an essay telling what I would do if I were a superhero. I used an online word processor named Google Docs and I loosely adhered to the MLA format. There was a minimum of 400-600 words in our essays. Some aspects that I had to use from the MLA format included one inch margins around all sides of the document, the standard heading, and double spacing. I drew a self portrait in a previous assignment, and I modified it to look more like a superhero. My original self portrait was made in a program named Pinta, and I drew on it by inserting it in my document and using the Google Drawings feature. The essay had to include my backstory, motivation, superpowers, and how I hide my identity. I enjoyed it greatly because I could express what I thought one problem was in the world and how one person could fix it. I wrote about a man who would help people locate their lost pens with his super powers. You can read about it here.
