For the digital footprint assignment we had to choose between two people and decide which one would be the better host of the new Web TV show. We had to read through articles and pick good and bad things about them. I don't think that it's is fair to hire someone for a job based on what's on their social media because they cant defend themselves. It would be better to hire someone through a face to face conversation with them and test them to see how they would react to certain things. It is also good to go through some of their social media to see if they have used drugs or been in jail.
For this assignment I worked with Chris and Conner. We highlighted the good things about each person in green and the bad things in red. We ended up choosing Iliana because she lied less.
My parents have sent pictures of me to my relatives and my friends parents have sent pictures of me to my parents. My friends could also screenshot the stuff I post online. The things that I do to control my digital footprint is make all my account private and not post stuff that I don't want to get into the world. To shape my digital footprint I could not post anything. I also shouldn't be mean to people in games. I could be nice to them and not do stupid stuff that could get into the world.
In ten year I want to be an interior designer. I hope that on my digital footprint people will see how I design rooms. I also want people to see if I am successful or not. On my digital footprint in ten years I mostly want people to see how much I charge and if I do a good job.
