Micro:Bit

A Micro:Bit looks like a small circuit board the you can program to do almost whatever you want. In class the first thing we programmed is for it to say "Hello (your name)" when you pressed button A on the Micro:bit. After, we made another program to show emotions when we pressed certain buttons on the Micro:bit. When button A was pressed it showed a happy face. When button B was pressed it showed a sad face. When buttons A and B were pressed It repeated both happy and sad faces. That is what I did with the Micro:bit.

For my final project David and I made an inchworm together using Micro:bits. We both made our own code for our Micro:bits. He was the sender and I was the receiver. His Micro:bit sent a message to my Micro:bit that told it to move the servo that we attached. We attached a servo to my Micro:bit so it would move when David pressed the B button on his Micro:bit. We chose to make the inchworm because it looked cute, funny, and it was the easiest. The most difficult part of creating the inchworm was it kept being too heavy and it would stop working and the servo didn't like paper clips. If we had more time we would've added color, fluff, and MORE GOOGLEY EYES!!!!

My code is the receivers code and Davids code is the senders code. I added a giraffe and David added a sword. The code is above this and the video is below this.
