Andrew Bradley (St Leonards graduate) spoke about Knowledge & Politics and the Media, particulalry focussing on the Methods & Tools used to generate knowledge in the media world. As a broadcast journalist Andrew has worked on a number of political shows for a range of media outlets.

Prof. Vivienne Wild University of St Andrews (School of Physics and Astronomy) talked about hte Methods and Tools used to change our knowldge and discover new planets and galaxies in astrophysics. Prof Wild finished her talk by dsicsussing the Ethics of astrophysics, highlighting the group Astronomers for Planet Earth

Dr Karen Smillie talked about the research conducted in her lab on Huntingdon's Disease. She discussed the Methods and Tools used to make new discoveries within the AOK Natual Science and how Ethics is taken into consideration when designing and conducting scienctific research.
