The Office of Global Studies seeks to provide academic opportunities for students to engage with global cultures, communities, and environments. Students choose to study abroad for a variety of different reasons, but they almost always come home noting unquestionable benefits to their personal, academic and career goals.
Through studying abroad, you:
Prepare yourself for the global economy
Enhance your career potential and graduate school opportunities
Improve your foreign language skills
Gain insight and appreciation for other cultures
Learn to treasure a global perspective and form international friendships
Better understand U.S. culture
Discover your values, gain independence and experience personal growth
You may choose from more than 150 short-term, semester-long and year-long programs offered by St. Kate’s in more than 50 countries. With advance planning, students in nearly any major can participate in an approved study abroad program while making normal progress toward graduation. Watch the short video here for more information or visit our website under the academics tab on the St. Kate’s website to explore your options.
