The Board is comprised of a Leadership Team, representatives from each CFA academic program, and a professional staff advisor. The Leadership Team is a group of up to five elected CFA students (including at least one bachelors and one associate degree level student).
Each academic program can set its own process for selecting and appointing up to two board representatives. This process should be outlined and representative selection information is to be provided to the CFA SAB by each of the programs at the beginning of the academic year. The selection process should be driven by the current students in the academic program. Program representatives should be selected by third week of the semester.
Students interested in participating in the Board, but not serving on the Leadership Team or as an academic program representative are welcome to attend and participate in meetings, but they are not eligible to vote on Board matters.
