Paper 1: Shakespeare and the 19th Century Novel
40% of the total GCSE
You will study A Christmas Carol and a Shakespeare text while learning how to write analytical essays in preparation for this exam.
Paper 2: Modern Texts and Poetry
60% of the total GCSE
You will study a An Inspector Calls and a collection of poems and how to analyse and comment on unseen texts.
