St. Jude Faith Formation

In C. S. Lewis' famous “Trilemma,” we have to decide if Jesus is “Lord, liar, or lunatic.” There is no room for other options. Our decision shapes our lives. Just imagine, the Creator of the universe became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14). St. Paul exhorts us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), not just one day per week, not just before before meals, not just before bed time. Being Catholic means being centered on Christ and His Church. Everything else, every day, flows from that. But it's difficult. The world is full of distractions. Paul reminds us that the race lasts a lifetime (1 Corinthians 9). And like the athlete who wants victory, we must endure, ever strengthening our spiritual muscles with daily exercise.

It's a life long process. From cradle Catholics to recent converts to those who are interested in becoming Catholic, our journey of faith is ongoing. St. Jude's faith formation team wants to grow with YOU and your family. We strive to enhance your family's spiritual growth by connecting you with the St. Jude community so we can all grow together. We hope you will find ways to gain a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith and develop a closer relationship with Christ through various opportunities at St. Jude. Below (and above) you will find links to help you on our journey. If you have any questions, suggestions or input, please feel free to reach out to us by clicking here.

Youth faith formation is focused on those under the age of 18 and includes Children's Liturgy, First Communion & Reconciliation, Confirmation, Grades 1-8 and High School.

The domestic church is vitally important in developing everyone's faith. Look for opportunities to grow in faith with your family at Mass, Adoration, Special Events, Family Bible Studies.
