Grades 7 and 8
2024-2025

In preparation for the school year, listed below are the items students will need to help set them on a path of success. Personal electronic devices, including phones, are not permitted for use in the school.   Phones are to be turned off & kept in backpacks at all times. 

 For 7th & 8th grade, we are not pre-ordering the copybooks - therefore, there will be NO Becker Box fee in September.  All items should be purchased directly at the store of your choice – be on the lookout for sales over the summer!

STUDENT SUPPLIES

• Accordion style/expandable poly folder with cord closure 

• 5 Poster Boards to be used in school

•  Honors Math -Calculator  TI-84 Plus   ( please double check with high school to see if they require another calculator, so you don't purchase a calculator that won't be acceptable to the high school)

• Pocket Dictionary

• Rosary

• Post it Notes - 2 7/8 x 2 7/8  (3 packs)

• Two - 2-pocket folder for Reading  and test folder

• Two large book sox covers for Literature Book and Social Studies book

• Marble Composition copybooks (no spiral theme notebooks permitted)

7th Grade - 8 copybooks 

8th Grade - 6 copybooks (we will reuse Religion , Science, and Social Studies  copybooks from last year)

●    Pencil Case with blue/black ballpoint style pens, erasable pens, eight #2 lead pencils, (no mechanical pencils permitted), extra erasers, red pen/pencil for marking

●    Color pencils, markers, and crayons - (12-24 pack)  for student use in classes throughout the day. 

●     4 highlighters- different colors and 3 white poster boards- full size ( or a pack of poster boards)

●     2 Glue Sticks

●     Clear transparent tape 

       Art Class - pencils with erasers - (Dixon- Ticonderoga if possible),  Sketch book and a 2 pack of black Sharpie markers

• Scissors

• 12” ruler

• 4 Dry Erase markers

●     4 packs of index cards- lined

●     2 packs of loose leaf paper - 100 sheets is sufficient - one will be turned in to homeroom teacher

●     Mini-stapler

●     Three pairs of earbuds - 1 pair for the library.  

**GRADE 8 Students are required to be registered with Renaissance Performance for online testing - the cost for this service is @$14 per student.  

ROOM SUPPLIES  

• 4 boxes of unscented tissues 

• 2 roll of paper towels 

• 2 containers of disinfectant wipes

Students in 7th & 8th grade use their backpack to switch from room to room, so no tote bag is needed.  All copybooks, soft cover textbooks, etc., should be covered with clear contact paper at home during the first 2 weeks of school.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation- we look forward to seeing you in September!
