Welcome back to Mrs. Hilghman's Class! 

2024-2025

I hope you all had a great summer.  

What can you expect this upcoming school year? Lots of learning, especially in Science & Math. How to make use of our resources, including our prior knowledge, Google classroom, Electronic Books, workbooks, note taking, technology and much more. 
Where can I find what to do for homework? It was on the board, but if you didn't write it down don't worry, you can check your google classroom link.
Where is my google classroom link again? It's saved on your Chromebook, but if you are not in school, you can click your grade in the link at the top of the page, and you will see your code for your google classroom.

For those entering 7th grade, it's considered a transition year.  While it can be tough at times, the pay off is worth all the work you put in.  I believe in you. 

For my 8th graders, this is your year! You absolutely got this! 

For my new to me students in 6th grade science, wait until you see first-hand how amazing science can be, it's a new curriculum, but once you get the hang of it, you will be acting as scientists in no time.

Summer math packets were sent home, a copy can be found in the link at top of page, in addition to the math, the science summer work is found grade specific under the science tab.
