This week we are cleaning up and clearing out to make way for our next grade! 

8th grade graduation is Wednesday, June 11th. 

Last day of school is Friday, June 13th.  Early dismissal.  Have a great summer! 

Past Events 

Field Day is Friday, May 30th.  

No School May 23, and May 26.  Remembering those that gave it all - Memorial Day. 

8th Grade Graduation is Wednesday, June 11th.  We are so proud of our graduates. 

5K was a great success.  It's been a busy school year at SJR.  

SJR Book Fair at Barnes & Noble was a success.  Get an early start on your summer reading! 

This was a great time! Lenape Village won for overall best part of the trip, that and the bus ride. 

7th Grade Field Trip to Churchville Nature Center Wednesday, April 30th.  Normal arrival and dismissal times.  Pack a disposable lunch and water bottle, (can bring an extra snack for the bus ride).  Backpacks to school are not needed.  Slings bags are allowed.  Due to most of the day being outside in wooded areas, wear long gym pants.  Gym uniform is required.

Update: Annie was a success! The 5K is upcoming, tell your friends.

Attached are the flyers for both ANNIE, Jr., and the 5K RACE FOR EDUCATION.  Can you kindly include in your classroom weekly announcements. ANNIE is 2 weeks away on Saturday, April 5th @ AWHS beginning at 2:00 PM. The 5K is Friday, May 9th beginning at 6:00 PM.  Sponsorships for the 5K are due April 4th to be included on the t-shirt. There are a limited number of t-shirts so families should register early.  Both events are on the homepage of the website.

2024-2025 School Year is exciting.  Here's a look back at the year. 

Catholic Schools week was busy! Here's a look back and what we did that week.  

January 2025! Catholic Schools Week 26th to the 31st. Super Busy! Sunday is our Open House.  Monday 7th grade wear gym uniform pants, and a black shirt to participate in Minute to Win it.  The Talent Show is Monday afternoon.  Tuesday wear Red White and Blue as we show support to our Military and First Responders.  We will participate in a school wide Rosary.  Wednesday is our Open House 9-11 and our Pizza lunch.  Wear your uniforms.  Thursday we will celebrate our vocations with an assembly.  Friday we will attend mass uniforms are worn, and then the Brain Show is in the afternoon.  

January 2025! Looks like our first SNOW DAY of the year is happening, Monday, January 6, 2025. Please check out Google Classrooms (7th HR, Math and Science) make sure you also check in with your other teachers via their websites or google classroom.  

A look back at 2024 Happenings...

December is sssooooo busy! 

Constitution Center Field Trip, First Friday Mass on the same day as Feast of St Nickolas, Tree lighting, and the Trimester Ends.  It's been a great trimester and start to the school year.  Report Cards distributed Dec 17th. 

Band Concert Dec 11th.

ELF shop Dec 17th.

Confession for grades 3-8th Dec 18th. 

Christmas Pageant Dec 19th.

Christmas Winter Break Dec 23rd through January 5th.  School Resumes Monday, Jan 6, 2025

SJR DRAMA CLUB PRESENTS:

We are so excited to announce that we will be doing

Annie Jr. for this year’s production. Please review

the audition information form for more info.

Auditions will be on Monday 9/23 from 3:30-

5:30pm. Auditions are open to all students in

grades 3 through 8.

We will send out additional information regarding the

ensemble in the next few weeks.

Lead rehearsals will begin in early October and are

expected to be on Friday from 3:30-5 to start. We

are waiting for confirmation of the show date from

Wood but are hoping it will be end of January/early

February.
