This week's tale comes from the wonderful Mrs Hojak - many of the junior children will know her as a midday supervisor. Mrs Hojak also helps around the school in many ways, including teaching Year 4 how to sew!

The staff at St Joseph's are very lucky to have a Meeting Room. It's a quiet space where we can hold important meetings, work without being disturbed and spread out lots of paperwork! However, the room is a little bare and soulless...

Yesterday, we heard in the Gospel that Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd, protecting us and guiding us.
In today's Witness Worship, Mrs McSeveney kindly explores our 'BIG Questions' - 'Do you life your life to the full? What do you think God wants you to do with your life?' - and helps us to discover how we can 'reach for the stars' with Jesus always by our side.

She's made nearly £300 in total! - That's an amazing result Evie, we are all so impressed and very proud! Well done!
In this week's Gospel Worship we're looking ahead to the Fourth Sunday of Easter and the powerful image of Christ as our Good Shepherd. Jesus explains to us that his ministry is intended to guide and protect us; giving us the confidence to live life to the full.
However, there are always thieves and brigands that will try to jump the walls of our hearts, leading us away from the voice of our true shepherd. Our challenge is not to let that happen. Sadly, I haven't done too well this week...
1080p.movIn response to last week's Gospel Worship and RE task, look at this amazing animation that Jack has produced, expressing the shock and surprise of the disciples on the Road to Emmaus. Jack captures perfectly the strange encounter the disciples experienced with an unfamiliar figure, who seemed to know everything about the scriptures but nothing at all about the crucifixion and death of Jesus.
However, it wasn't until the moment that Christ sat down with them, took bread, blessed it, broke it and shared it that they finally recognised his presence among them. What a fantastic reenactment of this special encounter with Christ. Great work Jack!
