Social Committee

The Social Committee arranges congregational get-togethers and opportunities for involvement with the wider community.  

We organise a range of activities throughout the year, including coffee mornings, plant sales, garden open days, auctions of goods and promises, harvest lunches or suppers, quiz nights, exhibitions of wedding dresses and christening gowns, flower festivals, beetle drives, Burns nights, Christmas fairs, Christmas tree displays, and Christmas pudding and mince pie making.

We also organise concerts and provide refreshments at such events and at celebrations of special anniversaries and birthdays for members of the congregation.

While offering opportunities for community engagement within the congregation and in the wider community, these events also contribute to fundraising for the church.
