Bible Study Group

The Bible Study Group meets on Thursdays after the 10.00 am Eucharist. We have a break of half an hour for a cup of coffee or tea and then spend from 11.00 am – 12.00 pm exploring passages from the Bible together. We usually read and reflect on the Gospel text of the previous Sunday, collectively trying to unravel what it means in relation to our Christian Faith in today's world. 

Members from the congregation and from the local community come when they can. There is never any pressure to contribute (fine to just sit and listen) but it's amazing how helpful we all find it to discuss together and share ideas. We finish with a short time of prayer – again totally voluntary.
