The Gettysburg museum is 22,000 square feet. The Gettysburg Museum is where you get so see everything about the Civil War/the Battle of Gettysburg. In the museum you can see all of their guns and bullets that they used during the war. The Battle of Gettysburg, fought from July 1 to July 3, 1863, is considered the most important engagement of the American Civil War. After a great victory over Union forces at Chancellorsville, General Robert E. Lee marched his Army of Northern Virginia into Pennsylvania in late June 1863. When you enter the Gettysburg museum you are looking at all the old artifacts that people have found on the battle grounds of the Civil War. you can also see all the instruments that the old drumming bands from both the confederates and the Union. Next you can see the old cannon balls that they used in the war of Gettysburg. Something that you can see that is really cool is the bullet that collided and fused together. You can also see old uniforms that they wore in the Civil War. Another thing that you can see in the museum is the old cannons that they used. The next thing that you can see is the old hand guns that they had and used in war. A cool thing that you can see is the south/confederates flag that they used and had in the war. The next thing that you can see is where they fought on the 3rd day of the battle. The last thing is that you can see the Souths money and old notes that they wrote and coins.
