A Message from Mrs. Konopacki
It was shared with us that there is a concern that there is lice in 3rd grade. We have not been made aware of any active cases of lice at this time in either third grade classroom.

Faith & Blue
As part of our annual Faith and Blue celebration, we collect monetary donations that are used to purchase gift cards to Mission BBQ for our local police and fire departments. If you are able, please send your child in with a monetary donation by Thursday, October 9th to support our local law enforcement, fire department and other first responders. Thank you in advance for your contribution!

3rd and 6th Grade School Mass
10:30 mass on Sunday, October 12th.
SJS Annual Trunk or Treat will be Friday, October 17th (rain date is October 24th). There are 2 ticketing options.
Option 1- Park, decorate, distribute goodies and trunk or treat for $5 per car including up to 3 children (each additional child is $5). The parking lot opens at 6:00pm for decorators.
Option 2- Park in the back lot and trunk or treat. Cost is $25 for one child (each additional child is $5). The back parking lot will open at 6:30pm.
Trunk-or-Treating will begin at 7:00pm. Hot dogs, drinks, and snowballs will be available for purchase. This event sells out every year! Purchase tickets HERE. Please remember tickets should only be purchased for SJS students. View rules here.
Homework Connection
Virtus Training
All parents must complete Virtus Training in order to volunteer at our school for class parties, field trips, and other activities. Your certification will need to be updated periodically, as well. More information about this training can be found at the following website:

Your third grade child's grades are kept in an online gradebook called Powerschool. We recommend that all parents visit Powerschool often in order to keep informed of your child's progress. You can visit this website to learn how to sign in to Powerschool:
