Catholic Schools Week-
CSW is a week filled with gratitude, joy and appreciation as we reflect on everything that being part of a Catholic School includes. We have a variety of events planned for that week. The full schedule is coming soon!
Sunday, January 25th: ALL SJS students are invited and encouraged to attend the 10:30 am Mass. Archbishop Lori will be here to celebrate Mass and bless the new altar. We ask that if your child is attending, please have them dressed in their school uniform. What a perfect way to kick off Catholic Schools Week!
Wednesday, January 28th: Parent Visitation from 1:00-2:30 pm. Visitors must RSVP HERE for this event. Due to limited space, we ask that no child has more than 2 adult visitors. Parents that are staying for dismissal should park in the lot as we do for dismissal, otherwise please park in the lot behind the Church. Doors to the Parish Center will open at 12:15 pm to check in and pick up your badge. Students will not be allowed to leave early during this time or at the end of visitation. Please RSVP by January 23rd at noon.
Friday, January 30th is a NOON dismissal
Cold Weather/Coats Requested- With the temperature dropping, please send your child dressed in a winter coat to school. We like to go outside for recess, even when it is chilly, for fresh air and to expel some energy. Please make sure that your child has a coat and cold-weather accessories so that they can participate in recess.
Homework Connection
Virtus Training
All parents must complete Virtus Training in order to volunteer at our school for class parties, field trips, and other activities. Your certification will need to be updated periodically, as well. More information about this training can be found at the following website:

Powerschool
Your third grade child's grades are kept in an online gradebook called Powerschool. We recommend that all parents visit Powerschool often in order to keep informed of your child's progress. You can visit this website to learn how to sign in to Powerschool:
