READING- 

• We will begin our new reading unit on Folktales. During this unit, our reading group will focus on classic American Tall Tales, featuring larger-than-life characters such as Paul Bunyan, Johnny Appleseed, Davy Crockett, and Pecos Bill.

• In addition, students will explore folktales from different countries around the world to compare storytelling traditions, themes, and cultural values.
