In estimation the total hours spent on the projects alone is around 30-40 hours per piece, resulting in roughly 335 hours in total and around 4 hours spent on the website itself. All pieces were made fully digitally, which is why I believe it fits properly for Tech Fest. Luciano Antonini – Irish Tribune
Sponsor: Mrs. Mellott
Irish Tribune is a Notre Dame News Company I started in January of 2022. Irish Tribune is a media company that covers athletics and general news about the University of Notre Dame, the most prestigious university in the world. My company has over a dozen writers, editors, social media managers, and podcasters who help produce content and make Irish Tribune unique and successful. The website was created from Wix and features it's own domain and unique features no other Tech Fest project has. The basis of the assignment was to create something for the Tech Fest, that's it. I chose to go above and beyond, while this company was started and wasn't based off of the assignment (Irish Tribune was created to be an actual business for me), I did submit it for the assignment because it's something I'm still working on. I personally between: Designing the website, getting the funding for the company, hiring people, creating content, etc. have spent more hours than I can count, probably 100's of hours, I am not joking, this has been a thing since January but was being worked on behind the scenes months before January 2022, January is just when it was announced. To the judges, I appreciate you taking the time to look at Irish Tribune, it still has so much more potential to it but I thought I would share you what I have spent so much time on for many months now, I encourage you to reach out to me and I can go on and on about the possibilities Irish Tribune has.
