Home Projects

All home projects must remain in the classroom until 1:15pm on Ag Day so that everyone has the opportunity to view the children’s creations

Agriculture Day 2026 Home Projects

Children with lambs or calves can choose whether to take part in these activities, as well as bringing along their animals to the show. All other students are asked to complete at least one activity at home, as indicated below, beside your classroom number. The children’s completed activities are to be brought into school the day before Agriculture Day, Thursday 22nd October. 

Rooms 1, 2 and 3 (Bring at least one to display)

● Miniature Scene - Use a range of recycled or craft materials to build a farm scene or animal.

● Fruit / Vegetable creation

● Cooking / Baking / Decorated Biscuit / Cup cakes / Edible necklace

● Flower Arrangement (sand saucer, (not Room 1)  aqua jar or an arrangement of flowers) Room 1 will do sand saucers in class, so this won’t be a home project for them.

Room 4 and 5 (Bring at least one to display)

● Cooking / Baking / Decorated Biscuit / Cup cakes

● Floral Arrangement (sand saucer, aqua jar or an arrangement of flowers)

Room 6 (Bring at least one to display in class)

● What’s in the box?- Students own projects

● Cooking / Baking / Decorated Biscuit / Cup cakes - for the Silent Baking Auction (Proceeds to go towards PTA Fund)
