Extended Essay

What is the EE meant to be?

A bridge between school and university
Not an IA!
Has to be linked to subject content but must be an extension on that topic
Must contain evidence of research from university level sources, ie academic journals
Use of internet sources and IB level or below textbooks is not sufficient. Students must go beyond the syllabus

Subjects available:

Any taught subjects at school
Any IB subject you have an interest in within reason, eg. politics
Interdisciplinary pathway (combination of two or more subjects, eg. Biology and Psychology)
