Students collect simple data through observation or questioning.
Students will learn how to create simple representations of data, such as pictographs or tally charts using concrete materials or drawings.
Students begin to interpret and discuss simple data representations and use simple comparative language to describe the data.
Students will understand how counting and showing information is relevant to their everyday lives e.g. counting toys, what forms of transport we use to get to school etc.
