Founder's Day Ball
Since its inception in 2009, the student-run ball celebrates the founding of our university in 1870 off-campus with a night of dinner and dancing for both undergraduates and notable members of the Stevens community. Previous locations include the Liberty Science Center and The Westin Jersey City. Every third Friday of February, 600+ attendees are encouraged to get dressed up and enjoy a cocktail hour, a full dinner buffet, dancing, giveaways, and tons of photo opportunities with the Stevens community! Attendees of age are also provided the option of a drink ticket for the night.
Today, we are proud to continue organizing such a well-loved campus tradition for all of the undergraduate students at Stevens!

Secured a new venue to allow for 70 more attendees.
Created an alumni sponsorship initiative to help Founder's Day Ball continue to grow in the future.
Utilized Eventbrite, a new ticket sales website to increase the efficiency of our ticketing process.
