8 - Potential Hazards

The implementation of an IoT Sound Machine would have the following potential hazards:

8.1 Ethical Issues:

• Using it as a way of inducing sleepiness / Using it as a way of making people tired.

• Using it to go to sleep when you should not be sleeping.

8.2 Product Liability:

• The product may be counter-effective in the long term. If users get too accustomed to sleeping with the sound machine, they might not be able to sleep without it

8.3 Social Impact:

• As with any electronic device, the device would have recyclable and unrecyclable components
