System Model
System Descriptions:
User Interface (App) - Will be used to control the device. Can collect and store data in a cloud or internal storage according to the user’s preferences of the location and frequency (daily, weekly, etc.). Data can be erased at any time if desired.
Feature Customization - The user will be able to choose which sounds to play. Can configure a playlist, or a routine. The routine can be changed at any time, and there will be many sounds available for the user to choose from.
Other IoT Devices - The device will be able to connect to other smart devices in the home (such as Bluetooth speakers e.g. Alexa, Google Home, etc.) and smartwatches.
Smartwatch - Linking the device to a smartwatch allows the user to keep track of their sleep data, share it with their phone through the app and monitor any changes, set desired goals, etc.

Program Outcome 1: (Complex Problem Solving)
1.3 (Engineering foundations) Students will be able to use block diagrams and a hierarchical representation of the project and use detailed circuit diagrams and interconnected component diagrams with technical specifications on inputs, outputs, and control to describe the detailed operation of components in the project.
