Self-Assessment
To help explore your career interests, values, skills and strengths, and how they best intersect with specific career paths, you are required to complete the self-assessment CareerLeader and CliftonStrengths. Please complete the 2 assessments before making your first one-on-one career coaching appointment. We will conduct personalized coaching based on your strengths and interests.
1st Mandatory One-on-One Career Coaching Appointment
The 1st Round of Career Coaching will start in the Summer. The coaching focus will be Career Exploration and Resume Review. Each of you can have a 30-minute 1v1 conversation with a career coach to explore your career interest, identify your career goal and finalize your career action plan (including your resume). We will also walk you through all the career development resources that you can utilize to support your job search. Career-Readiness Development Program (CRDP) Events
In the Fall semester, we’ll have more CRDP sessions on topics like Securities, Private Offering Funds, Group Interview preparation, etc. Please stay tuned for event registration information.
CCD Weekly Graduate Students Walk-In Hours
Walk-in hours are provided for students to have a 10-15 minute quick chat with our career coaches on resumes, cover letters and job search questions. Come and talk to us!

CCD Master Ambassador Program
If you want to gain some leadership experience while studying here at NYU Shanghai, the CCD Master Ambassador Program is for you! We’re selecting a group of students from every class, who are highly self-driven, committed and willing to support all MSDABC, MSQF, MSMRS, and MSOMS students to achieve career success during and beyond NYU Shanghai, while at the same time develop skills in leadership, collaboration and communication. More information will be provided during Orientation.
