Beginner Hoop Dance (18 yr+)
This trial class offers a fun, low-impact experience where you'll learn hula hoop dance moves set to upbeat music.
Lumbertown Cloggers (18 yr+):
A clogging group that performs at local events, meets for 2 hours weekly ($15/class or $50/month) beginning and intermediate dance routines taught, that have been learned at various conventions; tap or clogging shoes required.*
Adult Modern & Ballet (18 yr+):
Whether you danced in the past or looking for a fun alternative to the gym this class is designed for you. Adult Modern & Ballet is a new hybrid class designed specifically for Adults (18 & up). Class begins with Barre warmups & revisiting techniques of Classical Ballet. We then progress into Modern Dance influenced by the style of Alvin Ailey & Twyla Tharp. This class is both fun & challenging without overly stressing joints. Appropriate for all levels regardless of previous experience or how long it’s been since you last stepped into a studio.
Adult Musical Theater (18 yr+):
Connect with your inner Broadway star in this class. Learn choreography and work with ensembles that make you feel like a part of your favorite musical. Learn to bring your favorite characters to life, basic stage directions, and have a lot of fun doing it; jazz shoes required *
Step-N-Strength (16 yr+):
Simple choregraphed cardio step combos for a total body workout. These moves will challenge all muscle groups with added flexibility and balance benefits. For any level and floor or chair options!
Adult Get Fit (16 yr+):
A fitness class involving exercises designed to improve participant’s fitness level, includes cardio, strength, endurance and flexibility. All abilities are welcome, and all equipment needed is provided!
Zumba (16 yr+):
A fast-paced cardio fitness class that fuses Latin dance moves from axe, cumbia, salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton and more. Mixes low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the South American / World rhythms move take over, you'll see why Zumba classes are often called exercise in disguise. **
Teen/Adult Hip Hop (13 yr+):
A fun and easy breakdown of high energy Hip Hop dance technique, includes freestyle and pop and lock; jazz shoes or clean tennis shoes required.*
Teen/Adult Ballet (13 yr+)
Beginning to intermediate ballet dance technique: ballet shoes required. *
Teen/Adult Lyrical & Contemporary (13 yr+)
Covers stretch, beginning to intermediate contemporary and lyrical dance technique; no special shoes
Teen/Adult Tap (13 yr+):
A fun way to get your body moving and feet grooving while learning tap dance techniques: tap shoes required.*
Teen/Adult Ballroom 1 (13 yr+):
Group lessons introducing couples to American Style Ballroom dancing. Basics are taught in Chacha, East Coast Swing, Foxtrot, Rumba, Tango, and Waltz. Enjoy nights out and parties with social dancing skills; comfortable clothing and clean dress shoes recommended.*
Family Irish Ceili (10 yr+):
Beginning level class for the whole family, basic ceili dances (Irish social dance) with easy Irish steps and formations; ghillies or jazz shoes recommended.*
Cardio Drum (10 yr+):
Choreographed routines drumming on and off a stability ball. Combos for any fitness level with impact options given. This class is so much fun you don't realize the fitness factor!**
Total Body (10 yr+):
Simple repetitive moves using various tools targeting every muscle of the body! Modifications given for low impact or chair option! Some balance and flexibility moves as well! For all mobile fitness levels.**
Dance Attire & Supplies:
*Please wear form fitting, but comfortable dance wear, i.e. leotards skirt and tights, tank top or fitted t-shirt and yoga shorts or leggings. Please purchase required dance shoes for each specific style of dance, as noted in class descriptions. All props and equipment will be provided and cleaned/sanitized after each class. You may bring a water bottle as long as it is labeled with their name and has a top so it will not spill.
Fitness Attire & Supplies:
**Please wear form fitting, but comfortable work out wear, i.e. tank top or fitted t-shirt and yoga shorts or leggings. Please bring clean athletic shoes that are only worn inside. All props and equipment will be provided and cleaned/sanitized after each class. You may bring a water bottle as long as it is labeled with your name and has a top so it will not spill.
