I am so excited to get creative with you all this year. We will have so much fun together.
The art studio expectations are: BE KIND, BE SAFE, and BE RESPONSIBLE!

I will be posting pictures for each unit of art history that we work through. We will be starting with Prehistoric Art- so stay tuned and check in to see samples of art we made!
ARTIST OF THE MONTH!
The deadline to turn in art for our first artist of the month display is September 30th.
All students know that there is a turn in shelf in the art room. It is categorized by grade. They need to make sure they have a NAME, DATE it was turned in, and HOMEROOM on it so I am able to return their art after selection.
I encourage students to work on art at home that they would like to be considered for artist of the month. Some artwork we do in class might also get selected.

Daily participation is 60% of their grade. 40% is project based.
K-2nd

2 for following art studio expectations/
using classroom and supplies appropriately and responsibly

2 for your studio job being done with excellence
