The walls outside the art room look very prehistoric!!
ARTIST OF THE MONTH!
The next round of art submissions will be from October 27- November 11!
All students know that there is a turn in shelf in the art room. It is categorized by grade. They need to make sure they have a NAME, DATE it was turned in, and HOMEROOM on it so I am able to return their art after selection.
I encourage students to work on art at home that they would like to be considered for artist of the month. Some artwork we do in class might also get selected.

This is how your student will be graded this year in Art.
Daily participation is 60% of their grade. 40% is project based.
K-2nd
Your daily participation is worth
8 points:
2 for following class rules
2 for having a quiet work voice
2 for giving your best effort
2 for doing your job well
3rd-8th
Your daily participation is worth
10 points:
2 for following art studio expectations/
using classroom and supplies appropriately and responsibly
2 for staying on task and having appropriate inside volume
2 for using appropriate, positive and respectful language
2 for giving your best effort
2 for your studio job being done with excellence
