FLOWER

Photography
Note: Over the years the focus of my website has shifted more towards climbing trip reports, so I stopped actively updating my photography section around 2015 or so. But, there are still several great photos here, so enjoy!

I have a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens that I use to take photos of flowers and bugs (click to open bug page). Macro photography is lots of fun, and gives a great appreciation for the detail in nature. Oftentimes, it takes patience and several shots to get a good photo of a flower fluttering in the breeze!

The following is a sampling of some of my favorite flowers, mostly from Washington, British Columbia, California, and Colorado.
