Just a reminder:  When celebrating your child's birthday at school, Birthday treats to share are welcome!  However, I must ask that due to some K-A students with tree nut (cashews, hazelnuts, pistachios, almonds, macadamia, etc.)  We also have an egg, dairy, and pineapple allergy as well.  I am requesting that snacks be limited to those labeled "School Safe."  Both Giant and Acme carry peanut and nut free treats in their bakeries.  Other great ideas for snacks include soft pretzels, or non-edible treats.  Please be sure to read all labels before sending in any snacks to share.   I will be adding more snack ideas as I learn more.
