Hi Families:

The year is winding down rapidly.  We begin Unit 10 in ELA this week and will complete it next week.  We will complete our Math book this week and will have our last Math Assessment on Thursday.  We made it!!  I will be posting a summer assignment from our First Grade teachers in a few weeks. The children have a list of books to read or have read to them.  I found most of the stories on You Tube.  I will post the links for the books that I found.  This way you have the books handy and you won't have to make an extra trip to the Library.  I will also be posting some work sheets that your child can complete for review.  Please have your child read to you every day for practice.  They are doing an AMAZING JOB!!  Let's keep it going and growing!!

Our final blast for the year is our annual "Beach Day" celebration on Thursday, June 4th. The children are welcome to wear their summer clothes (no bathing suits) for the occasion as we will be playing in the sand, having lunch outside on the "green beach" (the convent lawn), playing summer games and working on summer crafts and edibles.  It is such a fun day, for our last and almost final day of Kindergarten.  No need to send anything in.  We will cover it all.  If anyone would like to help out at lunch (10:50-12:00) your help would be greatly appreciated!!

Have a great week!!

Sincerely:

Mrs. Scally🙂
