On English Language Paper 2- Section A you will be required to analyse and compare two non-fiction texts.
What I need to know:
56 Marks. 1 hr 15 minutes. (Longest section of all English papers- 8 Questions in total)
Various comprehension type questions, including a comparison question. E.g. MI5
Make sure you keep an eye on the time, read the questions very carefully, and use eveidence to support your points.
Don't forget to mention TECHNIQUES if it asks 'How does the writer...'
If it says to write about language and structure you must do both, otherwise you won't be able to get above a Band 2.
