STBCA STAR Program

STAR will be our new SWPBIS program (School Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports) program that will include a reward system and updated behavior referral system.

STAR stands for Safe  Trustworthy  Accountable  Respectful 

All areas of the school are addressed in STAR as well as church behavior. 

Major & Minor Discipline Forms   

Major & Minor Discipline Forms will replace infraction forms at STBCA. 

Minor Referral Forms (Yellow Forms)

• Minor forms are handled by the teacher and are for behavior incidents in the classroom or throughout the building. 

• Require the teacher to make contact with the parent/guardian via email or phone call. 

• 3 Minor referrals of the same offense equals a Major form. 

• Loss of recess(lunch/recess detention), conference with student are some of the actions that can occure for a minor referral.

Major Referral Forms (Pink Forms)

• Referrals that are handled by the main office.

• For more serious violations.

• Students that receive a pink form will not be eligible for student of the month awards.
