In science this year, 8th grade will be learning about Physical Science. This will include cocnepts like chemistry, force, energy, and motion. Students will have access to the online book as well as the physical textbook which we will highlight and write in. Below is a list of all the chapters/topics we will be covering this year. We do not complete chapters in order and may change the order based on student interest. Students will use QUIZLET to access and study chapter vocabulary. We will have vocabulary tests at the end of each chapter. Students will also take a quiz after each lesson that will contain multiple choice and writting questions. In addition, students will keep a science journal which will hold our labs, thoughts, reflections, and other materials.
