SAFEGUARDING

We have a statutory duty under National Wales Safeguarding Procedures, to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. We all have a responsibility for ensuring that children are protected from harm.

All staff are fully trained in our school policy and procedures.

Staff confidently refer all concerns and disclosures to Mrs Davies, Our Designated Safeguarding Person. In the absence of Mrs Davies concerns will be shared with Mrs Haldenby or Mrs Chiplin, our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Persons. Concerns may be discussed with parents and any referrals to outside agencies will be assessed.

Our Safeguarding Governor is Mrs Laing.
