If you have any questions or concerns, please contact core.help@state.co.us.
A change refers to any update or modification that alters the system’s behavior, configuration, or user-facing functionality. During a change freeze, these types of changes are temporarily restricted to protect system stability and avoid introducing risk during critical periods.
Project Overview & Mission:
To replace the state's legacy mainframe payroll system with a modern cloud-based solution.
Through this effort, the Payroll Implementation Team strives to:
Reduce manual processes and increase task efficiency for payroll, finance, and HR professionals in state agencies
Improve data integrity and increase data security
Standardize business processes across agencies and departments, aligning processes with HR best practices and law statewide
Continue to provide the state's 36,000+ employees with accurate and timely pay
As part of our ongoing support of CORE applications, we have the opportunity to apply Feature Sets three times a year. Typically, when not in a change freeze, any updates would be made during a maintenance weekend, and we will communicate to you the details of those changes.
At this time, the only planned innovations within CORE are below. If more changes are to come, they will be communicated:
Insight Project: Replaces infoAdvantage
PB Phase II:; Finish Annualization configuration, Schedule 9, and inclusion of request narrative in PB requests
CORE Attachments transition from Hyland to CGI storage
When is the Insight Project scheduled to be completed? I use reports from InfoAdvantage regularly.
We currently do not have the exact date of when it is scheduled to be completed. infoAdvantage will remain available until all reports are migrated and key stakeholders approve full transition.
What does the CORE attachment transition from Hyland to CGI storage mean?
Currently, any files that are saved to transactions in CORE as attachments are stored in a separate Electronic Content Management (ECM) system called Hyland. We're moving all CORE attachment files from Hyland to our internal CORE system (with CGI, our CORE vendor). This will streamline our processes by eliminating the need to maintain a separate system and external connection for these files.
