Three proofs of domicile are required for enrollment.
One from the "Tier 1" category (see below).
Two from the "Tier 2" category (see below).
Domicile requires the intent to abandon one’s prior home and remain in the new location as a permanent home for an indefinite period. In contrast, a residence need not be one’s exclusive home and does not require an intention that the residence be the permanent home.
One of the following:
Mortgage Statement (dated within the last 30 days)
Deed
Closing Disclosure / Settlement Statement (if you do not yet have a mortgage statement)
Signed Rental Agreement / Lease
Signed Rent Receipt from Landlord (name and address listed; dated within the last 30 days)
Current Renter's or Homeowner's Insurance Policy
Public Housing Documentation (dated within the last year)
Two of the following:
Utility Bill (service address listed; dated within the last 30 days)
Electric
Water
Gas
Telephone/Cable
Financial Statements (dated within the last 30 days)
Payroll Stub
Bank Statement
Credit Card Statement
Valid State-Issued ID
NC Driver's License
NC Identification Card
Most Recent Tax Information
Vehicle Tax Bill or Receipt
Property Tax Bill or Receipt
Income Tax Statement
DSS Correspondence (name and address listed; dated within the last 30 days)

Child Support

Voter Registration
Current Vehicle Registration
All new enrollments and any current student who has moved to a new address.
Proofs of Domicile must be submitted at the time of enrollment.
The application cannot be processed until this documentation is received.
