Participant guide
How to join sessions
All sessions except Poster Minute Madness (see below) are held on Zoom. To join a session, find the Open Zoom button for the session on the Sessions page, or directly on Sched at https://ld42021.sched.com. You must be registered for the conference and logged in to Sched to see the Open Zoom button.
Click on the session name in the schedule.
Join the session by clicking on the gold Open Zoom button.
If you don't see the Open Zoom button, you need to log in to Sched.

See the Zoom tips page for help getting started with Zoom, and to learn about anonymity in Zoom.
You must be registered for the conference and logged in to Sched to see the Zoom links.
Please do not share Zoom links with others. If you know someone who would benefit from a session, please ask that person to register for the conference.
Many sessions will be held via Zoom webinars. Participants will be in 'listen-only' mode and can ask questions using the Q&A feature in Zoom. Some sessions will be Zoom meetings and Participants can choose to turn on audio and video if desired.
Schedule tips
All session times are shown in Eastern Daylight Time. Use the timezone dropdown on the Sessions page to adjust.
Registered attendees should have received an email with information about accessing Sched and, once logged into Sched, attendees should see a personal schedule on the Sessions page.
If you are having trouble accessing Sched, you can set or reset your password at https://ld42021.sched.com/password-reset
Create a personalized schedule of the sessions you want to attend, so that you can receive session reminders and messages specific to those sessions. You'll also have the option to download your personalized schedule to your own calendar.
Poster session

Poster Minute Madness (Tuesday, July 20, 2:15 pm EDT) will be held on the Wonder.me platform. The link is available on the Sessions page (remember to log in to Sched). You can also get the link on the Slack workspace (bit.ly/ld42021slack) by typing 'poster wonder room' or 'poster minute madness' in any channel (Note: this will not work in direct messages except for messages to yourself).
Each poster presenter will have an opportunity to introduce their poster and then participants can wander around to jump into conversations about the posters.
Don't worry if you've never used Wonder.me; come and try it out! See the Wonder.me tips page to get the most out of the session.
*Note: To maximize functionality with Wonder.me we recommend using a Chrome-based browser but the platform will work with other browsers. Also, only accepting strictly necessary cookies will work fine for this experience.
Livestream & recordings
Sessions (with some exceptions, noted in the schedule on the Sessions page) will be livestreamed on the LD4 YouTube channel.
Session recordings (when available) will be available on the LD4 YouTube channel 2021 playlist.

Networking: Sched allows for adding people to your social networks. Take a look at the Participants page to find people to add. You can also check where they are coming from on the Participant locations page.
Hashtag: If you’re posting about the session or the conference in general on social media, please use the hashtag #LD42021.
