IB MYP Shadow Request

Shadow Requests are accepted from mid-November through mid-February.

IB MYP Shadow days offer interested students the chance to participate in IB Middle Years Programme classes while also seeing what a large, public high school is like. These shadow days are best suited for students who are on the fence about applying for the IB Middle Years Programme or students who will be new to the Stamford Public Schools in their 9th grade year.

Please note, the window to request a shadow day for the IB Middle Years Programme during the 2025-2026 school year will begin on December 3, 2025 and run through Friday, February 27, 2026.

Shadow requests are granted on a first-come-first served basis and are not guaranteed. Additionally, Shadow Days rely on the availability of our IB MYP 9th and 10th grade students. therefore, your patience is greatly appreciated once your request has been made.
