We aim to cultivate a social entrepreneurship approach to problem solving, promoting creativity and innovation to support social issues by offering a range of curricular and extracurricular opportunities.
Through these opportunities students:

Students demonstrating the following entrepreneurial skills and entrepreneurial process in an age-appropriate way:
idea generation
opportunity evaluation (e.g. market research, understanding costs and pricing)
objectives planning (including identifying a target market)
startup and launch (including traditional and digital marketing and sales)
reflection and evaluation
Being able to selectively organise and clearly present information to persuade an audience
Demonstrating financial literacy skills and associated ethics
Applying analytical skills to understanding and generating solutions for real world problems
Using entrepreneurial skills to engage in service, promoting our vision of a shared humanity

Being able to use design thinking to generate, prototype, and evaluate ideas
Being able to use the scientific method to research and gather evidence
Developing creativity of thought and expression

Demonstrating leadership skills within the classroom when group working
Demonstrating leadership skills through formal student leadership opportunities
Being an active participant in shaping and enhancing school life
These competencies are developed in a multitude of settings, including formal curriculum links to real-world issues and using design thinking as a learning tool. Beyond the classroom students participate in event days, assemblies, trips, student leadership and service opportunities and Enrichment.
Engage through Enterprise
Enterprise aims to equip learners with knowledge, skills and understanding so that they can recognise and successfully respond to enterprise opportunities. This includes cultivating an entrepreneurial approach to the presentation of ideas, problem-solving, leadership, teamwork and collaboration. Enterprise will facilitate cross-disciplinary learning in academic, economic, ethical and social enterprise situations, while preparing learners for their next phase of education and future careers.
Enterprise enables us to:
Use initiative to identify, define and develop creative and innovative solutions to real-world or personal challenges through the application of entrepreneurial thinking, taking into account any constraints or risks
Communicate ideas confidently & effectively, presenting information clearly and persuasively through the use of visual resources and spoken argument to a range of audience
Develop leadership capability to guide a team towards a shared enterprise goal while taking responsibility for successes and failures of decisions and actions
Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating and communicating with others, including successful negotiation and conflict resolution
Develop financial literacy to plan financially, quantify profit and loss, and consider the value of time and money while making resource decisions, taking into account ethical practises
Interact with the wider community, respond to feedback and conduct market research to inform future planning
