For the next five minutes, pay attention to your body. As you stretch and move your body parts, feel the pressure it puts on your muscles. Think about how the movement and stretching is helping your body to relax and de-stress.
While running, really feel yourself running. Feel your muscles, bones, tendons, and breath. Feel the movement. Feel the thud, thud, thudding of your sneakers hitting the ground.
Tell others “Good Job,” “Keep it up,” or “You can do it!” while participating in activities in the gym.
Make sure to drink a lot of water while being mindful in the gym. Hydrating your brain is a really great way to keep your brain engaged in learning.
