Hello Timberwolves!

THE SECOND GRADE STUDENTS DID AN AMAZING JOB ON THEIR PROGRAM!

4th and 5th Grade will be finishing up their recorder unit prior to spring break.

All certificates and belts will be given at the end of our unit.

3rd-5th have been writing Rhythm Compositions and practicing how to count rhythms accurately.

All grades will continue work on notation and rhythm.  3rd grade will begin to prepare for upcoming Lewisville Lake Symphony Field Trip on March 8.  Permission slips have gone home.  Please return signed permission slips asap.  Students will not be allowed to attend the symphony without a permission slip for the bus/event.

To access your child's canvas course from the LISD website from at home computer: Go to LISD, L-Hub, enter login and password.  Each course is labeled by grade - Music 1, Music 2, etc.

Click on the grade's course.  Once in the course, click on Modules, My Resources.  Under the My Resources tab is where your student has access to study materials, such as songs we are learning. 

The 4th and 5th graders take their ipads home so should be able to login on their own.  They have been shown, but they will need their login and password to access my courses.  3rd grade  has been shown as well, but don't take home their ipads.  As always, they should log on to canvas with adult supervision.  K-2 can log in as well with a parent and these instructions.  All grades have been shown how to access Canvas Music Course

Students should be logging into their Music Canvas Course and using resources available to them.    Students should also be logging into Quaver music curriculum and checking out all the wonderful resources under Student Dashboard.

All grade levels (K-5) have a Music Course in Canvas and access to Quaver.

All should be able to be accessed at home on a home computer, as long as the student knows their login and password.

FMLM continues every Monday from 3-4pm.  Remember to have April 22 on your calendar for the district test at Mill Street Elementary.  The test will be in the morning at a time between 8 am-1pm.  You will not be there the entire time.  Specific times to be given soon.

Timberwolf Choir continues EVERY Thursday and on some upcoming Wed. -March 8, March 29, April 5 and April 12 as well.  Upcoming performances:  April 20 - Hicks Home Concert, Frisco Roughriders Game - National Anthem on April 23, and April 27 - SunFest Contest.

Congratulations to these students for earning a place in the 5th Grade LISD Honor Choir :  Lily Bryant, Alana Hooda and Chloe Tsao!  

Our 5th Grade LISD Honor Choir Concert is THIS Tuesday, Feb.28 at Lewisville High School at 7:30pm.  Please come and support our AMAZING students!
