Workshop Practice

Professor Jetendra Joshi has launched the Workshop Practice projects where the first-year BTech students will get to work on projects that revolve around industry-relevant IOT-based topics.

Students have been divided into groups and assigned relevant roles. Each group will be supported by a Buddy Mentor, a senior student from the 2nd or 3rd Year BTech, who has worked on a similar project.

Project teams will creatively design a working prototype using various electronic components and prepare a research paper side by side. For the next two months, they will provide regular reports detailing their activities and future plans for the project.

This project is carried forward to the Second year where they will work on advanced features for their prototype, including integrating it with Object Oriented Languages like Java and Communication Systems through a wi-fi module.

Students gain more in-depth knowledge as they work on the same project and prototype over several semesters, which helps them create a fully working prototype and application that can be used in the Industry.

NUtons are required to refer to the documents attached here for details of project teams, topics, roles & responsibilities and guidelines for the project.
