Project i-MADS

The i-MADS project, Image Processing using Math & Data Structures, is designed specifically for first-year BTech students currently studying Linear Algebra & Differential Equations and Data Structures & Algorithms. This unique initiative is guided by esteemed faculty members Dr. Ganapathirao Maradana, Dr. Sachin Pathak, Dr. Supratik Banerjee and Prof. Dheeraj Tripathi, ensuring a strong academic foundation while incorporating industry-relevant skills.

By seamlessly integrating mathematical principles with computer science concepts, i-MADS allows students to apply key topics from linear algebra and data structures in the field of image processing. The project utilizes industry-standard tool-  LabelBox, giving participants hands-on exposure to real-world applications. This experience not only deepens their theoretical understanding but also prepares them for future industry challenges.

Running for 6–8 weeks, the project is mentored by second-year students who previously worked on it, providing valuable guidance. Additionally, students engage with industry professionals, gaining insights from real-world experts. This structured approach makes i-MADS an exceptional opportunity to bridge academic learning with practical applications in the tech industry.
