Synapse is an interdisciplinary initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry challenges. This project empowers students to engage in hands-on, research-oriented projects that align with contemporary industrial trends and technological advancements.

Implemented as a multi-semester, process-based experiential learning framework, Synapse brings together students from various disciplines to collaboratively ideate, design, and develop practical solutions to real-world problems.

Under the guidance of industry sponsors and faculty mentors, students work on projects spanning domains such as IoT, Smart Manufacturing, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Biotechnology, and Digital Transformation.

The projects are closely monitored and evaluated by a panel of distinguished faculty members and industry experts led by Dr Ganapathirao Maradana, Dr Supratik Banerjee, Prof Shakti Kundu, Dr Kumar Nitesh, Dr Ruchilekha and Dr Raju Bhakta.

In collaboration with partners such as Farmitopia Pvt. Ltd. and Vasus Brakes India Pvt. Ltd., student teams design, develop, and deliver end-user solutions that will be implemented by the collaborating industries. Guided by mentors and faculty, they progress from foundational learning to advanced system development and deployment.
