Currently, our Year Three scientists are observing the lifecyle of plants. Observation is key to learning and the youngsters have been watching to see how, over time, water moves through plants. Miss Downes reports their observational skills are first rate and thinks we may have some scientists of the future in our midst.
Our Reception children have been using the big apparatus in the hall to work on their climbing and balancing skills. The staff team report that it has been a joy to watch how their confidence in PE has grown since they joined us in September. Back in both the indoor and outdoor classrooms, the children have been making sock puppets. They were tasked with creating a fairytale character. The results were fantastic and gave our children a great opportunity to use their imagination and crafting skills.
