This week, FOSS held a special assembly to unveil the winners of the competition to design a jersey for this weekend's London to Paris fundraising cycle. Sporting the wonderful jerseys, some of the cyclists came in to meet the talented designers. Thank you to Jayne McCarthy, who not only designs FOSS' eyecatching posters, but also worked hard to combine the entries of six children in just one jersey. The result was stunning. FOSS would like to thank all the children who entered the competition, the standard was very high. Turn to page five to view some of the entries. For more news on this amazing cycling fundraiser, turn to page three for a full FOSS update.
St Stephen's Stars, our wraparound care club, is looking for donations of games and art supplies. Do you have any to spare? Jo Meier, our St Stars manager, told us: "Our parents have so generously donated lots of jigsaw puzzles which we are putting to good use. We don't need any more puzzles, but if you have any board or electronic games you no longer use, we would love to have them. The children love painting and drawing, so if you have any art supplies you could donate, they would make such a difference too. Thank you." Take a look at this stunning artwork that the children completed in the quiet zone of the club, it is so colourful and cheery.
Well done to our girls' tag rugby squad who did well at a non-competitive rugby tournament with ten other schools just down the road at The Stoop. For a full report from Margaret, turn to page five. Also have a look at Mr Cain's report on our first ever girls' cricket competition

Green-fingered Florence and her Mum have overhauled and replanted some of our tired planters. We cannot wait for the sun to keep shining and the flowers to brighten up our playground. Lots of hard work from the gardening duo and many, many thanks from everyone at St Stephen's for donating these wonderful blooms.
