Geography - Year 5 have been developing their map reading skills by using atlases to find rivers in the UK. They have also been using digital map skills to locate rivers in Europe. They have enjoyed learning about different parts of a river and have been learning how to use 4 and 6 figure grid references. 

Drama - During their religion lessons year 5 have been learning about King David and how important he was in the Old Testament. After reading the different scriptures about King David, the year 5 created a drama on the most important parts of David’s life. 

Science Investigation - Year 5 have been investigating materials using torches. Children predicted whether different materials would be transparent, translucent or opaque before working in groups to carry out their investigation.
