In Religion we have been learning about the time when Peter declared is faith and believed Jesus his the Messiah. Faith is like a shield that helps guide use and protect us through life. We showed this by creating and decorating our own shields to declare our faith.
Year 4 visited the Roman Amphitheatre in the Guildhall art gallery. This was part of our History Unit the Romans. Year 4 had the chance to use this enquiry skills to find out more about different artefacts from the Roman period. They also had a chance to pretend to be gladiators in an arena.
In Science, Year 4 have been learning about teeth and keeping our teeth healthy. We have been investigating the effects of different drinks on our teeth. To investigate this we kept eggs in different drinks such as coffee, cola, prime, orange juice and pickle juice to see the effect it can have on teeth. So far we have observed some drinks can cause the egg shell to peel or flake away and others have caused the egg to burst.
