Year 3 has been busy designing and making our own pencil cases. We used a needle and thread to sew them together and created our own designs for decoration.

Emmanuel really enjoyed the swing on Forest School today. He waited his turn and had lots of fun.

In Science, we have been investigating the parts of a plant. We created our own models of seeds dispersal by using balloons, boats and bubbles. Over a few days, we also observed how water travels through leaves by using food colouring.

Year 4 have been investigating pitch in our science lessons. We used elastic bands to test whether pitch gets lower or higher as the band gets tighter and looser. We enjoyed seeing the effect of the vibrations.

This year, all children in Year 4 are learning to play the recorder! So far, they have been working really hard, listening to each other as they play together in their groups. Children have learnt three notes and can now play more than one note in their pieces. Well done to all the children as they showcase the wonderful work they have done so far!
